Who We Are
UGW Credit Union is a type of community bank, which is owned and run by its members. UGW is overseen by Directors who are elected each year from the membership at the Annual General Meeting. If you become a Unique Growth in Wealth Credit Union member you will be supporting a local and ethical savings and loan scheme that is owned and managed by local people for local people. There are about 400 Credit Unions in USA with over 1 million members.

UGW employs professional, qualified mentors that provide culturally appropriate, solution focused and personalised mentoring and planning programs for staff to assist them to achieve career and life goals.

Our employee base consists primarily of Indigenous people who live in the communities that we service. 85% of our staff identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander and speak the local languages of the customers they serve.
