How to use Internet Banking

If you have not used Internet Banking before, call the Head Office on +231 77-638-5992 and press 2 to speak to one of our operators so that they can set you up and give you a special Internet Banking password.

Once you have your password log in to Web Banking at our website. You will need to enter your member number and the Internet Banking password you were just given.

Once you are logged in the system will ask you to choose your own new password so that no one else knows what it is. Follow the instructions on the screen to do this.

On the left hand side of the screen you will see a menu of all of the things you can do or access with Internet Banking. Click on the item that you would like to use and follow all the instructions on the screen.

When you have finished using internet banking remember to log out by clicking on the log out button in the menu list. This will ensure that no one else can access your accounts after you leave the computer.

The voice will now run through the main menu of services (following) that you can access through phone banking. Just follow the prompts and press the number of the service that you require.

If you would like to use phone banking to transfer money to someone else's UGW account you will need to call Head Office again on 08 8999 0777 to get a staff member to link that persons account number to your phone banking. This will make sure that you don't transfer money to the wrong persons account by accident. Once you have that persons account linked once you can then transfer money whenever you like without having to speak to an operator again.
